I have spent the summer vacation building a tuner for my guitar in Zig, with pulseaudio as the backend for audio. I went down the rabbit hole of real-time audio–wait free ring buffers, asynchronous programming, atomic operations, memory ordering–very exciting stuff. This project even lead to my first open source PR! Merged by the great Andrew Kelley himself. I will be writing a multi-part blog post on this soon. Stay tuned!
The games of the ‘smaller nations’ in this World Cup seems more fun than in the previous ones. Or is it just me eh?
The experience of polishing the research and its presentation through feedback from expert reviewers felt meaningful. The final manuscript turned out to be a much better version of its previous iteration. One invaluable lesson I learned is that the presentation of the research carries equal importance, if not more, to the work itself.
A brilliant work of fiction. The style of prose felt unique, and the world building..amazing. Looking forward to reading Dune Messiah.

A new beginning. Just finished setting up nvim configs and fired up this Zine site. I already made a portfolio site with hugo but didnt like the experience. Hence this website—a fun experiment with zig, html and markdown.
